May in Maui logo finalMAY in MAUI, the spring fundraiser hosted by the Bucks County Chapter of Fox Chase Cancer Center’s Board of Associates, was held on Sunday May 3, 2015 from 4-7 pm at HollyHedge Estate in Solebury, Pa.  All proceeds benefited cancer research at Fox Chase Cancer Center.

hawaiian-hula-dancerAttendees enjoyed live music, an open bar, hors d’oeuvres and  a sit down dinner in a festive Hawaiian atmosphere.  A mesmerizing steel drum and keyboard performance by the Raymond Charles Duo and island dances performed by Polynesian Dreams.  The wonderful Hawaiian-themed food menu can be viewed here . Raffle tickets were $50 each with a First Prize of 50% of raffle proceeds. The Second Prize was a dinner, an overnight stay and breakfast for two at the elegant Black Bass Hotel on the Delaware River, which was generously donated by the Thompson Organization of Doylestown.

The event’s special pledge was focused on lung cancer which is responsible for 1 of every 5 cancer deaths (please see How Your Dollars Help Cancer Research at the Fox Chase Cancer Center for more information).
